How do we engage new carers?

  • Decide to make an offer.
    How do we do this? We use a Carer Offer Form to make the offer. When submitted, the form sends an emailto the interviewee making the offer and outlining its terms and conditions. You can see the text of the email sent by clicking on either link in the Links to Carer Offer Forms section below and scrolling down below the Submit button. For new employees, a link to the Fair Work Information Statement is included in the email.
    • To use the Carer Offer Forms, first gather some information from the interviewee:
      • Their first and last names
      • Their email address
      • Their worker type: employee or contractor (ABN sole trader)
      • If employee, will they be full time, part time or casual (most likely casual)
      • The hourly rate $ offered
      • The start date.

    • If the carer is to be an employee, use the New Carer Offer – Employee Form to make the offer.
    • If the carer is to be a contractor, use the
      New Carer Offer – Contractor Form to make the offer

• What happens after the New Carer Offer email is sent to the interviewee?
  • They confirm their acceptance or otherwise by return email.
  • If accepting, they complete a form providing CareLinc with the important essential information needed in order to schedule and pay them. There is a link to the form in the New Carer Offer email; different forms for new employees and new contractors.
